Welcome to All Happy Dogs Run, Southeast Portland’s premier mobile dog gym. We take pride in offering dog running wherever you are, from Portland to Vancouver. We are Portland’s first mobile dog gym, having been in business since 2023. Dog running promotes good health, mental stimulation, and a safe way to burn energy. Come see what we’re all about, and learn more about our slatmills.

What Is A Slatmill?

What is the difference between a slatmill and a treadmill? A motor! A slatmill is a motorless wheel with a tread that allows a dog to run at their own speed. Our slatmills also provide weight resistance, therefore adding muscle and a complete body workout. Our 30 minute sessions equal about a 90 minute walk! We never use motors or make a dog run at a speed it is uncomfortable with. Treadmills for dogs can be dangerous and unsafe, even when used correctly. While you may think products found online would be a good alternative, it is no match for a commercial-grade slatmill. A slatmill is one of the most effective and safest ways of running your dog on a weekly basis.

Dog Runs Build Muscle

Add this type of fitness for your dog once or twice a week and burn more energy than just a walk. We, humans keep our dogs restricted on the leash- most of our dog’s normal walking pace can be anywhere between 4 and 10 mph- just walking! A walk isn’t enough to satisfy even small-breed dogs. Slatmills offer resistance, letting your dog build muscle, stronger hearts, lungs and stamina. Give your dog the safety and freedom to run at its own pace.
